Anxious 18-year-old Lu’s world turns upside down when she discovers that her best friend Avery is moving away and has been keeping that a secret from her. On their last day together, both girls process the grief they feel for this time of their lives that is coming to an end while discussing their future and uncovering hidden feelings. Do they want to save their friendship, or take a leap of faith and start something new?
Born and raised in Brazil, Giulia has been passionate about making films since her early teenage years. At 17, she moved to the United States to study filmmaking at New York Film Academy; where she graduated with honors from the Bachelor's of Fine Arts Filmmaking program. Over the years, she's acquired valuable experience in all areas of film, but remains particularly passionate about writing and directing stories that feel true to her. Currently based in Los Angeles, she is excited to continue creating projects that help connect people and make sense of the world.
